This 1968 GTO is one of 92 produced with the Ram Air package.  She is factory equipped with a 4 speed close ratio manual shift transmission with 4.33 posi rear axle, as verified by the PHS docs. Accoroding to PHS, only 5 black on black Ram Air GTO convertible are known to have been produced.  The '68 Ram Air GTO is the only convertible GM equipped with a 4.33 rear end as standard equippment. 

This fine example still retains her 100% numbers matching original drive train assembly.  Sold new at Haynes Pontiac in Hyannis, Mass, she also came factory equipped with "wonder-touch" power steering, front disc brakes, rally gauges with tachometer, all soft-ray tinted glass, ride and handling package, and 205x14 thin white wall tires. 

She presents as a 1 minus condition car, a finely restored car that has been driven on a limited basis. A documented early Ram Air GTO convertible, in factory triple black is a must have in any serious Pontiac collection.
